All paint and supplies are included in the session cost! I will have wipes and a changing tent available for you to use to clean up after your session. I would advise bringing something to put on seats and/or a change of clothes to keep from spreading the paint to your car. The paint is washable and nontoxic.

how do I book a session?

Booking is easy! Just visit my Booking Page to view available dates and choose the session that works best for you. Once you select your time, you’ll receive a confirmation email to officially reserve your spot. Where are you located?

I’m based in Fort Branch, Indiana, just north of Evansville, and I’m happy to travel up to 40-50 miles for sessions at no additional cost. If you’re located beyond that range, I’m still happy to come to you—just note that a small travel fee may apply.

What should we wear for our session?

I recommend white! White clothing really show the contrast with the paint and makes your images stand out.

After booking, I’ll send over a detailed style guide to help you plan outfits that look great on camera. Feel free to reach out any time to collaborate on outfit choices!

How long will it take to get my photos?

Soft proof galleries are typically delivered within one week of your session. Once you select your favorites, final edited images will be delivered within another 1–2 weeks.

What happens if it rains?

If we're planning an outdoor session and the weather isn’t cooperating, we’ll reschedule at no extra cost. I’ll keep in touch as your session date approaches and make a call based on the forecast.

How many people can I have in the session?

My standard paint splash sessions are designed for immediate family only (typically parents and their children). If you’d like to include extended family members—like grandparents, cousins, or multiple households—I’m happy to accommodate, sometimes there might be an additional fee. Just let me know when booking so we can plan the perfect session for your group!

How long is the session?

Most sessions last between 45 minutes to an hour, but I like to let things flow naturally. I won’t rush you—once we’ve captured everything we need and everyone’s feeling good, we’ll wrap up. My goal is to keep the experience relaxed and fun.

Is the paint washable?

Yes! I use washable, non-toxic paint that’s completely safe for children of all ages. It washes out easily from skin and most clothing, so you can focus on having fun without worrying about the mess. Though I do recommend bringing extra clothing for after the session to prevent the spread of paint to your car!

Are the photos done in a studio?

I don’t use a traditional studio—instead, I shoot outdoors using natural light and beautiful surroundings to create warm, genuine images. Whether it’s a forest, park, field, or your own backyard, I’ll help you choose a location that fits your style and makes you feel comfortable.

Can the session be booked anytime?

Paint splash sessions are seasonal and best booked during the spring, summer, and fall—basically any time it’s warm enough to be comfortable outside. Since these sessions involve water and paint, I want to make sure everyone stays safe and happy, so we avoid colder months. Reach out early to snag a spot during the warmer seasons!
